Our Complete Air Duct Cleaning Process
Dial 4 Duct follows a step-by-step cleaning process for air ducts in Oshawa and nearby areas. This process is designed to clean individual vents, remove dust and debris from the main duct lines, apply sanitizer, and seal the system properly after cleaning.
1. Supply & Return Vents
We clean each supply and return vent using 250 PSI compressed air to remove dust, debris, and contaminants. Each vent is then sanitized to help eliminate germs and bacteria.
2. Main Duct Access
We access the main duct lines in the basement and take pictures and videos before cleaning for documentation purposes.
3. Industrial Vacuum System
We connect our 20,000+ CFM industrial vacuum system to create negative pressure and contain debris during the cleaning process.
4. Forward & Reverse Sweepers
The ductwork is cleaned using reverse and forward sweeper tools to remove dust, debris, allergens, and contaminants from the duct lines.
5. Sanitizer Application
Sanitizer is applied through the main duct lines to help eliminate germs, bacteria, dust mites, and other contaminants. Sweeper tools are then run again to remove remaining debris.
6. Access Opening Sealing
All access openings are sealed with galvanized metal plates, screws, HVAC foil tape, and airtight plugs for 2-inch access holes.
7. Final Inspection
A final inspection is completed to make sure all access points are sealed, there are no air leaks, and the duct system is properly finished.
